Uzbekistan commissions 5.8m square meters of habitation in 1H

Uzbekistan commissioned 5.8 million square meters of habitation in the first half of 2014, which grew by 13.9% year-on-year, according to publication of the Ministry of Economy and the State Statistics Committee.
According to the state bodies, about 4.4 million square meters of habitation were launched in rural areas, which rose by 15.9% year-on-year.
The country constructed 1,700 km of water supply network (1,500 km in rural areas) and 289 km of gas network (212.9 km).
