Uzbekistan, China discuss upcoming SCO events

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 April 2018, a meeting with the delegation of China led by the Special Representative of the Government for Shanghai Cooperation Organization Affairs, National Coordinator of China in the SCO, Sun Lijie was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the SCO, preparations for the forthcoming meeting of the Council of the Heads of States of the SCO Member States in Qingdao (PRC) were discussed.

The sides exchanged views on the draft agenda, the program, the final documents, which are planned to be submitted to the heads of states.

Special attention was paid to practical aspects of holding the next, 13th meeting of secretaries of the Security Councils of the SCO member states, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
