Uzbekistan, China Deepen Strategic and Party Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Li Shulei, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and head of its Publicity Department, met in Beijing with Sardor Umurzakov, Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Special Assignments, according to Xinhua.

Li Shulei noted that last year the leaders of the two countries announced the elevation of China–Uzbekistan relations to a new level — an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era.

China is ready to work with Uzbekistan to implement the agreements reached at the highest level, intensify inter-party exchanges, deepen cultural and humanitarian cooperation, and promote dialogue between civilizations, thereby ensuring high-quality development of bilateral ties.

Sardor Umurzakov, in turn, reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s readiness to expand exchanges and cooperation with China across all areas and to further advance bilateral relations in line with the direction set by the leaders of the two countries.
