Uzbekistan, China consider bilateral relations in Tashkent
During the talks, the officials considered issues of bilateral cooperation and implementation of agreements, reached during Uzbek-Chinese negotiations at high level, which took place on 8-10 September 2013 in Tashkent and Samarkand and on 19-20 August 2014 in Beijing, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
It was noted that institutional mechanisms of cooperation, such as session of the inter-government committee of cooperation and its sub-committees, regular consultations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of two states, as well as contacts in other levels, are playing key role in gradual development of relations between Uzbekistan and China.
The sides exchanged opinion on some international and regional issues, including in context of recent initiatives of China.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan Sun Lijie took part in the talks.
