Uzbekistan championship on badminton takes place in Tashkent

Uzbekistan championship on badminton among professionals is taking place in Tashkent. It was organized by the Ministry of culture and sport of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city administration and Uzbekistan badminton federation.
The championship is hold each year and this year it is taking place from 25 February to 2 March 2014.
Chairperson of Uzbekistan badminton federation and the chairperson of the State Competition Committee Aziz Abduhakomov expressed success to the participants. Overall 110 athletes are participating in the competition.
The athletes represent Andijan, Bukhara, Navoi, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Jizzakh, Ferghana, Khorezm and Namangan regions, as well as Tashkent city.
The competition is help in five directions – men singles, ladies singles, men’s doubles, ladies’ doubles and mixed. The winners will be awarded on 2 March.
