Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 July 2022, the need for a technical inspection of cars, from the date of issue of which no more than 10 years have passed, has been canceled in Uzbekistan. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Sherzod Asadov. 

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a corresponding decree on June 28.

At the same time, cars that are 10 to 15 years old will have to undergo inspection every two years. Cars that are over 15 years old will have to pass inspection once a year.
