Uzbekistan burns over 1.6 tonnes of drugs

Uzbekistan’s law enforcement agencies destroyed more than 1.6 tonnes of drugs, seized during the fight against drug trafficking.
The event was organized in connection with the International Day Against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking, which is celebrated on 26 June.
In the blast furnaces of one of the enterprises in Tashkent, 15.6 kg of heroin, 1 tonne of opium, 98.7 kg of hashish, 406.2 kg of marijuana, 55.6 kg of kuknar, over 1.4 g of new psychoactive substances, and 27,4 kg of cannabis were destroyed.
A large number of psychotropic drugs in the form of tablets and solutions were also destroyed.
