Uzbekistan attracts loans for US$231.1m in 2015

In 2015, Uzbekistan attracted 49 grants for US$108.7 million to healthcare sector and 53 grants for US$57.5 million to education sector.

About 22 grants worth US$21.6 million were attracted to develop economy, financial market and entrepreneurship and 25 grants for US$12.2 million – social protection, development of culture and sports.

Uzbekistan attracted four grants for US$2.2 million to development of information-communication technologies and 4 grants for US$13.3 million – technical equipment of law enforcement and customs bodies.

Nine grants for US$4.8 million were attracted to ecology sector. Another 8 grants worth US$3.5 million attracted to material-technical equipment and institutional development of the public government bodies.

Uzbekistan received 8 grants for US$2.7 million in agriculture and water management and 16 grants for US$4.6 million – in other directions.
