Uzbekistan attracts grants for US$68.2m in 3Q

In particular, Uzbekistan attracted five grants for US$7.7 million to implement projects in healthcare sector.

According to the Ministry, Uzbekistan attracted 8 grants for US$52.2 million to education sector and improving skills of workers, education and internship, as well as purchase of computer and software.

Two grants for US$4.5 million were attracted to improve equipment and institutional development of the state bodies, social protection of population – four grants for US$1.9 million.

Two grants for US$1.4 million were attracted to realize projects in ecology sector. Uzbekistan attracted eight grants for US$0.5 million on other directions.

Uzbekistan attracted 60 grants for total sum of US$47.4 million in the first quarter of 2014 and 36 grants for US$42.7 million in the second quarter of 2014.
