Uzbekistan arranges friendly match with Iraq
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan national team will play a friendly match against Iraq on 12 October 2012, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
As reported earlier, Uzbekistan will play friendly matches against Jordan in August and Kuwait in September. These matches will help Uzbek team to prepare to the match against South Korea.
The match against Iraq will allow Mirjalol Kasimov’s side to prepare to the match against Qatar, the federation.
Uzbekistan and Iraq played five times. Uzbekistan won three of them and one finished with draw. Iraq won one match.
