Uzbekistan approves rules on performing national anthem at events abroad

Norma.uz said the decree was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan on 19 December 2013.

According to the decree, establishments and organizations of Uzbekistan, which plan to hold events in the territory of foreign states, should inform Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan about this.

During events abroad, the State Anthem of Uzbekistan should be performed in line with practices and local customs of the foreign countries.

This information to organizations of Uzbekistan is provided by diplomatic missions and consular establishments of the country in the foreign state.

The heads of corresponding delegations are responsible for performance of the State Anthems during events in foreign states.
