Uzbekistan Approves Regulations on Internship Process for University and Vocational Graduates
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved the Regulation on the internship process for graduates of higher and vocational education institutions, as well as the digitalization of their employment system (Resolution No. 615).
According to the document, educational institutions must annually, by 1 October, send requests through the platform to enterprises included in the MAPC “Unified National Labor System” to conclude agreements for graduate internships. Agreements between educational institutions and enterprises are formalized through the platform no less than three weeks before the start of the internship.
Based on final state assessments, educational institutions annually enter graduate information into the platform. Enterprises update their staffing needs, including vacant positions, by the 25th of each month.
Graduates employed with their labor contracts registered in the system are automatically marked as employed on the platform.
The adoption of the Regulation is aimed at streamlining the internship process, improving interaction between educational institutions and employers, and increasing transparency in graduate employment.
