Uzbekistan approves regulations for the provision of public services for licensing passenger transportation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government resolution approved the Administrative Rules for the provision of state services for licensing the activities for the transport of passengers and goods by road in urban, suburban, intercity and international routes.

In accordance with the regulation, legal entities and non-individual entrepreneurs apply for public services only through the Public Services Centers or the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services.

The commercial transport of passengers and goods on city, suburban, intercity and international routes is licensed.

At the same time, passengers are transported by legal entities.

The issuance of a license, suspension or termination of its validity, as well as its cancellation and re-registration shall be carried out by the Ministry of Transport and its territorial departments by taking an appropriate decision.

The license is unlimited. On the basis of a license, a license sheet is issued to each motor vehicle.

The validity period of the license sheet is limited by the duration of the property rights or lease agreement.
