Uzbekistan approves measures on rehabilitation of chemical and fuel-energy enterprises

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan with its resolution approved “road maps” for financial and economic rehabilitation of insolvent and low-profitable enterprises of chemical industry and fuel-energy complex of the country.

The resolution was adopted to ensure financial-economic rehabilitation of insolvent, low profitable enterprises of chemical industry and fuel-energy complex due to diversification of production, effective use of production capacities, updating old technologies, decreasing prime cost, etc.

The Government approved “road maps” for 12 enterprises of Uzkimyosanoat, Uzbekneftegaz and Uzbekenergo. The programmes were approved for Samarkankimyo, Jizzakh plastmassa, Ferghana refinery, Bukhara refinery, Uzruberoid, Shimolgaztaminot,Markazgaztaminot, Syrdarya thermal power station, Talimarjan thermal power station, Takhiatash thermal power station, Tashkent thermal power center and Shargunkomir.

The “road maps” envisage measures on effective and rational use of assets of the enterprise, modernization and re-equipment of enterprises, decrease prime cost, technological losses and raw materials, etc.

In the result of implementation of these and other measures, these enterprises will increase production volume, decrease prime cost and receive net income for 2014.

Ferghana Refinery and Bukhara Refinery will produce goods for 1.317 trillion soums and 1.249 trillion soums in 2014 respectively and get income at the size of 5.2 billion soums and 10.5 billion soums respectively.
