Uzbekistan appoints Consul General to Bangkok and representative at ESCAP

Uzbekistan appointed a new Consul General in Bangkok (Thailand), the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
Aziz Aliev became the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok, the statement of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reads.
Prior to appointment, he worked as the head of division of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the UN an international organizations’ affairs.
Aliev is also a representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
