Uzbekistan and Vietnam discuss cooperation in economy, tourism, and investment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November, on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference taking place in Samarkand, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloev held a working meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Ngo Le Van.

The parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, and tourism spheres, and exchanged views on current regional issues.

The Vietnamese diplomat praised the high level of organization of the current session of the General Conference and noted Uzbekistan’s growing authority and proactive role on the international stage.
