Uzbekistan and US Discuss Expanding Trade Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, held negotiations with United States Trade Representative, Ambassador Jamieson Greer. During the talks, the parties discussed the growing interest of American investors in the Uzbek market.

According to Mirziyoyeva, work is currently underway on agreements aimed at establishing mutually beneficial regulatory conditions for bilateral trade. These arrangements are expected to facilitate further expansion of economic cooperation between the two nations.

Mirziyoyeva also expressed gratitude to the American side for its support of Uzbekistan’s efforts to join the World Trade Organization (WTO), emphasizing the significance of this process for the country’s integration into the global economic system.
