Uzbekistan and Ukraine Discuss Cooperation at UNESCO Session in Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November, on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Maryana Betsa.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current issues of Uzbek-Ukrainian bilateral relations and discussed prospects for cooperation within international organizations.
Maryana Betsa emphasized that hosting the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand was a significant achievement of Uzbek diplomacy, reaffirming Uzbekistan’s status as a key center of international dialogue and a symbol of openness to the world.
