Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 October  2019, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Assistant to the Deputy Minister for Accreditation and Educational Services of the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Hassan Alheiri and the Executive Director of the International Organization of the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Khaled Aljasmi.

Relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates are developing rapidly. As part of the implementation of the agreements reached following the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates in March 2019, an agreement was reached on large-scale cooperation, including in the field of improving the quality and training of personnel.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side provided information on the education sector of Uzbekistan, ongoing reforms in this area. It was noted that the leadership of Uzbekistan pays special attention to issues of public education.

In particular, information was provided on ongoing work on the revision of teaching methods and programs, as well as the introduction of STEAM education, etc.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on establishing promising cooperation in the field of education
