Uzbekistan and UAE Discuss Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Advanced Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in coordination with relevant government bodies and following priorities set by the head of state, is actively studying and implementing advanced international practices in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

On 23 October 2025, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Director of the Agency Vyacheslav Pak, met in Dubai with Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the Uzbek Agency and the UAE Ministry in applying AI in public administration, learning from the UAE’s experience in selecting and evaluating AI-based projects, and developing specialized personnel.

Additionally, representatives of the unified integrator “Uzinfocom” presented their experience in developing and implementing information systems and AI applications, which drew significant interest from their UAE counterparts.

The discussions concluded with an agreement to continue collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence, exchange expertise, and organize joint training programs.
