Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to create their trading houses

The agreement envisages assistance to entrepreneurs in establishment of trading houses on the territory of both countries.

Trading houses will become an advertising platform for local buyers, will allow retail and small wholesale trade, conduct marketing research. They will provide consulting services.

The document was signed during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Uzbekistan.

“The results of the exhibition of products of Turkmen manufacturers and business forum demonstrate great potential for increasing trade between countries. The opening of trading houses will help us to continue to increase the volume of trade and create the conditions for establishing contacts between business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan,” the Minister of Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev commented.
