Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan Sign Agreement on Pharmaceutical Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Pharmaceutical Technical University have signed a cooperation agreement with the Turkmen organization Altyn Kanun.
The agreement provides for collaboration in the procurement, sale, export, and import of pharmaceutical products manufactured in both countries.
It is expected to expand pharmaceutical markets, increase trade turnover, and strengthen economic ties between the two states.
The agreement places particular emphasis on the development of medical education and workforce training. Plans include sending Turkmen citizens to the Pharmaceutical Technical University of Uzbekistan for professional education.
