Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discuss delimitation and demarcation of borders

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 24 to 30 October 2018 in Nukus (Karakalpakstan), a regular meeting of working groups of the Joint Uzbek-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took place.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of joint field topographic and geodetic works at selected sections of the Uzbek-Turkmen State border, and also agreed on further joint field work, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Following the talks, a protocol was signed.
