Uzbekistan and Türkiye FMs Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, during which the parties discussed current issues of bilateral and regional cooperation.

The ministers reviewed priority areas of expanding cooperation and practical mechanisms for implementing agreements previously reached at the highest level. Particular attention was given to preparations for upcoming joint events.

During the conversation, the sides also exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of resolving existing issues исключительно through peaceful means — via dialogue and diplomacy.

Following the talks, the ministers agreed to intensify joint efforts aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership and unlocking its full potential.
