Uzbekistan and Türkiye Discuss Expansion of Cooperation in Ankara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the working visit of the Uzbek delegation to Ankara, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye on 27 October.
According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Musa Kulaklıkaya emphasized that Uzbekistan is a brotherly nation for Türkiye, united by common historical roots, religion, and culture.
During the talks, the parties discussed ways to further strengthen political dialogue and expand cooperation in trade, economy, culture, humanitarian affairs, and migration management. Special attention was paid to regulating labor migration and organizing regular bilateral consultations.
Participants expressed confidence that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in the field of labor migration is mutually beneficial and holds strong long-term prospects for both nations.
