Uzbekistan and Türkiye Agree to Enhance Exchange of Experience in Pension and Social Spheres

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On the sidelines of the International Social Security Forum, the delegation of Uzbekistan’s Pension Fund held a meeting with representatives of the Turkish Social Security Institute.

The forum, organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA), is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On 30 September, representatives of Uzbekistan’s Pension Fund discussed with Recep Kaya, President of the Turkish Social Security Institute, issues related to pension provision as well as opportunities for bilateral cooperation within the framework of the draft Agreement “On Pensions and Social Security.”

During the dialogue, both sides exchanged experience and agreed to continue interaction, including the establishment of working groups for the practical implementation of shared knowledge and the holding of regular consultations.
