Uzbekistan and Turkey signs agreements for US$3.5bn
The documents were signed in construction of large energy facilities and road infrastructure, production of textiles, electrical equipment, building materials, the organization of modern productions in food and agro-industries, logistics centers.
The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul and the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments, and, DEİK- the Business Council of Turkey-Uzbekistan.
Participants of the event were acquainted with economic and investment potential of two countries. During the bilateral meetings representatives of business circles discussed issues of establishing mutual cooperation and implementing specific investment proposals in the electrical, textile, construction materials and tourism sectors.
During the forum, the parties also discussed further steps to develop partnership in various fields of mutual interest, including implementation of new joint projects.
