Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom Discuss Cooperation in Digital Technologies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation from UK Export Finance (UKEF), the agency operating under the Government of the United Kingdom.

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for attracting investment into priority areas of the country’s digital transformation. Topics included the development of digital infrastructure and information technologies, the construction of IT Parks, the establishment of “green” data centers, and support for startups.

Representatives of the British agency were briefed on the operations of IT Park, the startup ecosystem, and the Ministry of Digital Technologies’ international experience in innovation and digital entrepreneurship.

The Uzbek side presented information on ongoing projects and new initiatives, inviting UK Export Finance to actively participate in their implementation.
