Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic held consultations on expanding the legal framework of cooperation and its inventory
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24-25 July 2018, consultations of legal services of ministries of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic on discussing the possibilities of expanding the legal framework of cooperation of the two countries, as well as an inventory of the signed bilateral documents were held in Prague, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
The Czech side was represented at the consultations by a delegation led by Deputy Director of the International Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Milan Beranek.
Within the framework of the meeting, draft agreements of the parties were considered for the purpose of timely and proper preparation for signing during the forthcoming joint events. The sides also came to a common understanding on the issue of determining the status of documents available in the legal framework of cooperation.
During the consultations, a meeting with the Director of this Department Petr Valek was also held. Views were exchanged on prospects for formation of norms of general international law, in particular cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures and formats dealing with issues of progressive development and codification of international law.
