Uzbekistan and the Chuvash Republic discuss expanded cooperation in tourism
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held between Sardor Niyazov, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, and Dmitry Krasnov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Economic Development and Property Relations of the Chuvash Republic.
During the talks, detailed information was presented on Uzbekistan’s current efforts to develop the tourism sector, including initiatives to increase the flow of both foreign and domestic tourists, and the creation of favorable conditions for private entrepreneurs operating in the industry.
The Chuvash side was introduced to new tourist sites and destinations in Uzbekistan, as well as tourism products based on the country’s cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and unique natural resources.
Dmitry Krasnov commended the measures being taken by the Government of Uzbekistan and shared his own region’s experience in developing the tourism industry. He also proposed ideas aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
At the conclusion of the talks, both parties agreed to develop a joint action program aimed at further expanding cooperation in the field of tourism.
