Uzbekistan and TBC Bank Group Discuss Expansion of Digital Banking and AI Solutions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 December, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with the leadership of TBC Bank Group to discuss further deepening cooperation in the banking and financial sector, as well as the development of digital services.
TBC Bank Group has been operating in Uzbekistan since 2020 and currently serves more than 5.7 million monthly active users, making it one of the largest digital banking ecosystems in Central Asia. The bank continues to expand its presence in the country, focusing on technological solutions and scaling digital products.
During the meeting, TBC representatives highlighted the group’s systematic approach to building its own artificial intelligence infrastructure — from increasing computing capacity to developing applied solutions based on SpeechTech and large language model (LLM) technologies.
These developments are seen as a key element in enhancing the quality of customer services and operational efficiency.
The banking group confirmed its intention to expand operations in Uzbekistan, launch new projects, and strengthen its position in the regional market, viewing the country as one of the strategic hubs for its future growth.
