Uzbekistan and Tajikistan intend to expand trade
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was held in Termez.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda chaired the meeting.
The delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, the fulfillment of the tasks set by the top leadership of the two countries to strengthen and develop the multifaceted cooperation between two countries.
The parties confirmed their interest in enhancing and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors of the economy, in particular, trade and economic, investment, energy, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian areas, agriculture and water economy, tourism and other areas of mutual interest.
The sides intend to take measures to ensure the growth of commodity circulation and the creation of joint ventures in various industries.
