Uzbekistan and Switzerland discuss trade-economic cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador of Switzerland to Uzbekistan Nicolas Brühl has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan on 3 April 2014, the press service of the Uzbek body said.
During the meeting, the sides considered perspectives of further expanding trade-economic, investment and financial-technical relations between two states.
The special attention was paid to implementation of concrete projects in production of food products, including production of confectionary products and processing fruit and vegetable goods, medicaments, as well as in agriculture sector.
The sides reached agreement on holding a roundtable in Tashkent to discuss new directions of cooperation in financial-technical sphere in the end of April 2014.
The Uzbek side invited representatives of Switzerland to participate in international conference “On important reserves of implementation of good programmes in Uzbekistan”, which will be held in Tashkent on 5-6 June 2014.
