Uzbekistan and Sweden Discuss Prospects for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation in Stockholm

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullaev held a meeting in Stockholm with Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Riksdag Julia Kronlid.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing inter-parliamentary relations, as well as opportunities for implementing joint projects in the social sphere.

Julia Kronlid praised the scale and consistency of reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, noting that she personally witnessed the country’s progress during her participation in the anniversary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in April this year in Tashkent.
