Uzbekistan and Sweden Agree to Expand Cooperation in Education
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Kungratboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, met with Oskar Voglund Söderström, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education of Sweden, to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in education.
The talks focused on strengthening collaboration in higher education and scientific research, implementing modern educational technologies, and promoting academic exchange programs.
Special attention was given to inclusive and sustainable development of the education system, fostering the scientific potential of youth, and studying international best practices for training highly qualified specialists.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to enhance cooperation and activate direct links between educational institutions in Uzbekistan and Sweden.
