Uzbekistan and Spain Sign Cooperation Agreements

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares. The discussions were held in an open and constructive atmosphere, focusing on the further development of bilateral relations.

The sides addressed ways to intensify political dialogue and expand economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain.

Following the meeting, several documents were signed, including a Cooperation Program between the foreign ministries for 2026–2028, an Agreement on the waiver of visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders, and a Memorandum of Understanding on the training of diplomatic personnel.

The agreements reached are aimed at strengthening multifaceted cooperation and further developing a mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.
