The talks focused on a large-scale project aimed at ensuring stable and continuous water supply for agricultural land through the creation of clusters of water-supply stations that will include wells, pumping stations, treatment facilities, and water-storage reservoirs.
Planned construction includes:
Navoiy region — 14 stations to irrigate 3,239 hectares;
Bukhara region — 10 stations for 2,670 hectares;
Jizzakh region — 6 stations for 1,282 hectares;
Kashkadarya region — 65 stations for 16,580 hectares.
These projects are designed to promote efficient use of water and land resources, while energy-efficient pumps and treatment facilities will help reduce costs and enhance the investment appeal of agricultural clusters.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strictly adhere to technical standards, adapt infrastructure solutions to local conditions, and strengthen long-term cooperation between the two countries.
