Uzbekistan and South Korea Sign Memorandum of Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Korea Pharmaceutical Traders Association (KPTA) under the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety of the Republic of Korea.

The document is aimed at attracting pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing companies to the industrial zone of the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing joint investment projects.

The parties agreed to expand practical cooperation, including familiarization with the opportunities and incentives offered by the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster and the introduction of innovative areas in the pharmaceutical industry, which will contribute to enhancing the sector’s efficiency and competitiveness.
