The delegation of the Digital Expertise Division of the National Center for Digital Expertise (NDFC) at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Korea held talks at the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the guests were acquainted with the activities of the Main Expert-Criminalistic Center (GECC) of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan, types of examinations and studies conducted in the center and its units in the field, the press service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
Currently, the Ministry of Interior Affairs is carrying out organizational work to create a unit for conduct of computer examinations as part of the GECC. It was stated there is need in IT specialists, who can investigate crimes with use of IT technologies.
The delegation of the Republic of Korea spoke about the history of creation and way of formation of the Division, the principles of its employees’ activities, the tasks they face, and the prospects for development.
In addition, they presented a training course on training methods and techniques for identifying, investigating and digitally, as they are called, expertise.
The parties discussed the possibilities of exchanging experience in the field of computer expertise and training of Uzbek specialists at the NDFC.
