Uzbekistan and Slovakia Discuss Expansion of Trade and Cultural Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with Viktor Boretsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing political dialogue, as well as trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian relations between the two countries.

Special attention was given to the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and joint measures to increase the volume of bilateral trade.

The sides agreed to continue close cooperation in 2026, including organizing joint events, reciprocal visits of delegations, conducting inter-ministerial political consultations, and holding the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission.
