Uzbekistan and Serbia Strengthen Tourism Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree ratifying an international agreement establishing cooperation in the field of tourism between the governments of Uzbekistan and Serbia.
The agreement, originally signed on 28 October 2025, in Tashkent, aims to develop bilateral collaboration in the tourism sector. Under the decree, the Tourism Committee is designated as the authorized body responsible for implementing the provisions of the agreement.
Once the decree comes into force, the Cabinet of Ministers, along with heads of relevant ministries and agencies, will oversee compliance with the agreed obligations.
The agreement follows an official visit to Uzbekistan by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić from 28 to 31 October 2025, which strengthened ties between the two countries.
