Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia Discuss Strengthening Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtriyor Saidov held a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

The ministers exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, conveying wishes for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development of the Muslim ummah.

During the discussion, they addressed the further development and consistent strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

The ministers also shared views on the current situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region and resolving all issues exclusively through political and diplomatic means.
