Uzbekistan and Russia Strengthen Cooperation on Strategic Initiatives
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Agency for Strategic Reforms with a delegation led by Svetlana Chupsheva, Director of Russia’s Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
Bobur Rakhmatov, Director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for Strategic Reforms, welcoming the Russian delegation, highlighted the high level of cooperation between the two agencies, emphasizing the effectiveness of experience sharing and joint work on implementing practical solutions in the field of strategic development.
During the discussions, the Uzbek side presented information on ongoing reforms in the country, as well as initiatives aimed at improving the business climate, developing tourism, and promoting the creative and nighttime economy.
Svetlana Chupsheva congratulated her colleagues on the successful launch of the first national competition “Biznikilarni Bil” (“Know Our People”), noting its important role in supporting entrepreneurs seeking to enter international markets. She emphasized that such initiatives stimulate business development and strengthen the role of state support as a key factor in economic growth.
The meeting also included information about the planned launch in 2025 of the annual forum “Kelajak Uchun” (“For the Future”), which will serve as a platform to promote promising ideas and initiatives from the wider population. The forum is expected to support the implementation of objectives outlined in the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy and encourage innovative projects.
The parties discussed new areas of cooperation, including the development of small and medium-sized cities, as well as the implementation of the “Electronic Home” system, aimed at digitalizing interaction between citizens and management companies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their intention to continue active cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives.
