Uzbekistan and Russia Sign Protocol on Creative Economy Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the International Conference on the Creative Economy held in St. Petersburg, the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of the Russian Federation signed a Cooperation Protocol.

The document was signed by Chairperson of the Foundation Gayane Umerova and CEO of ASI Svetlana Chupsheva.

The agreement provides for the adaptation and implementation in Uzbekistan of the Regional Standard for the Development of Creative Industries, which includes best regulatory practices, methodological frameworks, and analytical tools successfully applied in 67 regions across Russia.

The signing of the protocol marks an important step in strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the field of the creative economy, opening new opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint research, and the development of strategies to advance creative industries.
