Uzbekistan and Russia Discuss Cooperation in Labor Migration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Head of the Agency for Migration Affairs, Bekhzod Musaev, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan, Alexei Erkhov.

During the talks, the parties discussed in detail the issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor migration.

For Uzbek citizens seeking official employment at Russian enterprises, specific proposals were presented to organize all migration procedures within Uzbekistan.

The sides also reviewed existing challenges in this area and agreed to revise them in accordance with the legal requirements of both countries.
