Uzbekistan and Russia discuss bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 March 2019, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Ilhom Nematov met with Secretary of State Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin in Moscow.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the parties conducted a thorough exchange of views on the current agenda of the Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and alliance, as well as on some international and regional issues.

Diplomats discussed the implementation of the agreements reached in the framework of the negotiations of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on October 18-19, 2018 in Tashkent.

The parties reviewed proposals for the schedule of forthcoming bilateral contacts at various levels in 2019.
