Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea, Vitaly Fen, yesterday met with the Deputy Minister for Trade Negotiations of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ye Han-ku.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Korean-Uzbek Business Association under the Ministry, Kim Chang Keon, and the Director of the Department of Policy Planning for the Free Trade Agreements of the Ministry, Kim Ho Chul.

The parties discussed the implementation of the agreements reached on 13 April 2020 during a telephone conversation at the highest level.

They also discussed were issues of accelerating joint work on the draft Free Trade Agreement between our countries.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the practical aspects of the upcoming Uzbek-South Korean contacts at various levels, including the organization of negotiations in the near future at the level of deputy ministers through video conferencing.
