Uzbekistan and Qatar Strengthen Cooperation in Education and Science

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 November, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloyev, held a meeting with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture.

The Qatari minister noted that the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, held in Samarkand, was organized at a very high level and became a significant event not only for Uzbekistan but for the entire Muslim world.

Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s historical contribution to the development of Islamic civilization and expressed Qatar’s readiness to actively cooperate in preserving and transmitting to future generations the scientific and spiritual heritage of Imam Bukhari.
