Uzbekistan and Poland Strengthen Agricultural Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, held talks with Poland’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Kraevski, to discuss the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized their intention to elevate collaboration to a qualitatively new level. Special attention was given to enhancing the effectiveness of ongoing projects in veterinary services, livestock farming, and phytosanitary control, as well as accelerating the implementation of previously planned joint initiatives.
The ministers also highlighted the significant potential for scientific and innovative cooperation in agriculture. Discussions focused on expanding the exchange of best practices, training specialists, conducting joint research, and introducing modern technologies.
The meeting concluded with recognition that consistent strengthening of agricultural partnerships creates additional opportunities for entrepreneurs and contributes to the sector’s continued development.
