Uzbekistan and Poland Expand Agricultural Trade

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan hosted talks between its head, Laziz Kudratov, and Poland’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Stefan Krajevski.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation, focusing on increasing bilateral trade in agricultural products. Special attention was given to expanding supplies, implementing joint food processing projects, and developing logistics infrastructure.

In 2025, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Poland reached US$382.7 million. Uzbekistan hosts 49 enterprises with Polish capital operating in energy, textiles, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, and the agro-industrial sector.

The discussion also covered the establishment of distribution centers, participation of companies in international exhibitions, and strengthening direct contacts between business communities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to promote new initiatives to further develop bilateral partnership.
